What are YArch competitions?
YArch competitions challenge students to tackle real-world design problems, from rethinking public spaces to imagining sustainable housing. Each competition is structured to be fun, approachable, and rewarding, no matter your skill level or experience.
How do I participate?
Visit the most current competition, Review the Task and Background section to understand the challenge and considerations. Students can work individually or in teams (up to groups of 4). Submit your project by the deadline, and your work will be reviewed by qualified architects, designers, and educators.
Who can Enter?
Kindergarten - Grade 12 students or homeschooled students. At the time of entry, the student must reside in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Students can enter as an individual or as a team of up to four people.
